Welcome to Colsterworth Medical Practice

With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

Get Well, Keep Well

Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.

The practice is also occasionally involved in the training of medical students and post-graduate training of doctors.

Join In

We hope you enjoy having a look around the site and familiarising yourself with some of the online features such as ordering a repeat prescription. Whatever your thoughts, be sure to let us know via our feedback function. Comments and suggestions are always a great way of helping us continue to enhance the way we look after you.

Access

Our premises are single storey and have adequate on site parking. Our Colsterworth premise has good access for wheelchair users and mobility scooters.  Our consulting rooms are large and so can accommodate wheelchairs, prams and families well and the lavatories are also specially designed to accommodate those with disabilities.

Some patients with wheelchairs and mobility scooters find access to our South Witham branch surgery more difficult as there is a small lip on the main access door.  If you book an appointment at the branch surgery and are concerned about access please call ahead of your appointment to discuss with the Practice Staff.

Named, accountable GP

From 1st December 2015 we have allocated all patients a named, accountable GP - Dr Paula Welsh. It is important to understand that this is an administrative exercise and does not affect which GP you see or talk to in the practice.
